Dad's Time
24"H x 18"W
This was the perfect opportunity and the ideal way to create a commissioned work. Dad had sat down with his daughter at the wedding of a mutual friend. "Mom" pointed out the image and told me that if I painted the scene she would by it, and here is the result for Tony, Erin and Sophia.

This is a family portrait of the Silvermans, including their parents depicted in the "black and white" photographs in the background. Donald is a great story teller, thus the title, which comes from the beginning of most of his stories.

The Titus Twelve

This was a fun commission of the client's 12 nieces and nephews hanging out at the family cabin in the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York. The work was compiled from 50 or 60 photographs of the family, imagined into this group scene on the cabin's dock.

This is a painting of a much loved Pug that has gone to the great dog run in the sky. A fine friend that I had the honor to memorialize in this fun portrait.

May It Please the Court
42"H x 52"W
This was created from sketches done in a new Judge's courtroom. Rather than the traditional gift of a nice watch, Judge Wallerstein wanted the gift of art that he could enjoy while sitting on the bench. The painting now hangs at the back of the Henrico County Juvenile Court Room helping one judge remain joyful during what must be very trying days (no pun intended).
