While this painting is based on a very small demonstration in Richmond, VA proclaiming the speaker's desire to "stop the steal" on the day that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were declared the winners of the 2020 election. At that time we were all a bit naive as to how far those demonstrating were willing to take their belief that Trump had won re-election and to what lenghts they would be willing to go to force others to accept their fantasy.
