With Peter Sagan (Cannondale) having trouble getting the better of Marcel Kittel (Giant Shimano) at the finishing line, he has been putting in a lot of effort to get as many points towards his goal of the Green Jersey as possible. So as the peloton approaches the intermediate sprints along the stage, today in Epping, the front of the peloton turns the bright green of Team Cannondale. However, another green clad team has been getting the better of Sagan and the bright green boys of Cannondale, Team Europcar and their sprinter, Bryan Coquard. Though Sagan's consistent second places at the finales and at the intermediates is allowing him to strengthen his hold on the Malliot Vert.
