Victorious!

Every cyclist, pro or not, dreams of riding in the Tour de France. Every professional dreams of winning a stage, or dreams bigger of wearing the Yellow Jersey. Only a very few every realize either dream, Nibali has now worn the Maillot Jaune for 11 stages of this Tour and has claimed three stage victories. I am sure he will savor this one the most, to win on that top of a mountain in the Alps wearing the Yellow of race leader is a very precious and rare event in a racers life. To top off the quality of his stage, he extended his lead in the overall and claimed the lead in the King of the Mountains competition. Now it will be a question for him and the rest of the peloton, how well can they recover from this grueling stage, because stage 14 is even more difficult. For those who can get rejuvenated over night, sleep soundly, and awaken fresh, they can either build on their standings, or regain the ground that was lost in the opening day of the high mountains.
