It was a team effort to make sure that Tony Martin (Etixx Quickstep) got across the finish line in Le Havre. In the Maillot Jaune of race leader Martin was pushed up the final climb by none other than the Rainbow Jersey of World Road Racing Champion, Michal Kwiatkowski and several other teammates including, Julien Vermote and Matteo Trentin. Rigoberto Uran joined this quartet as they came up to him (riders are not allowed to turn around on the course). Once across the line, Martin sought out his teammate, Zdenek Stybar, to congratulate him on his stage victory.

I just realized that I had said the Stybar's win was the first for Etixx-Quickstep, but that obviously isn't true. That honor goes to the man in yellow.

Whether or not Tony Martin will be physically able to take to his bike tomorrow, by finishing he as ensured that he will be allowed to start another stage of the Tour. There has already been one rider who was unable to start a stage while wearing the Maillot Jaune, Fabian Cancellara.
