As Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) went through the second time check at Plancher les Mines it was clear he was starting to lose a few seconds to Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) the only one with any realistic chance of taking the Maillot Jaune of the shoulders of the Slovenian. However, Slovenia need not worry the small country will merely be swapping one countryman winning the 2020 Tour de France for a different countryman.
